So how does everyone think Eddie went on the FS last night?
IMO a brilliant performance from a very good politician. Said everything but said nothing! He was very good at smudging the Shaw/Didak affair by initially talking about the sale of the pubs and the loss. Sam asked some good questions but he was a little soft I thought. Anyway by the look of things he will be taking a back seat in talking to the media regarding Collingwood so perhaps a lesson has been learnt this week.

Eddie was....well Eddie, he is brilliant at beating around the bush and telling everyone what they want to hear.
I'll bet my left knacker he would be seething at Nathan Buckley for his criticism of his handling of the Shaw/Didak
business. He would be privately fuming at both Shaw and Didak for their stupid behaviour and most of all he would be off his trolley at himself for not letting Gary Pert handle all the media regarding the whole messy thing.
Eddie is a salesman and remember he is a journalist and last night he painted a rosy picture of Collingwood's future while the club is out of bloom. Expect some radical changes at Collingwood both on and off the field come October/November.
By the way, Sam was excellent with this interview, perhaps this should be a regular segment where Sam goes Head to Head weekly with an AFL player, coach or administrator.

Eddie and the whole Collingwood footy club/supporters are kn0bs.
Over the past few day i have spoken with alot of Collingwood supporters and every one of the stupid twits are soooo one eyed its not funny.

This may be taking stereotyping a bit far, particularly when we have guys like Svenny and Toothless here that are as good at being one eyed as anyone. No crime in it. Passion for your team is what makes watching sport so much fun.

I'm proud to be a one eyed Collingwood supporter but that does not make me blind to the Club's failures, etc. As Ossie said we love it that you hate us. It makes us love the Club even more. And why not be one eyed? Footy is a tribal thing and lest hope it remains that way forever.

Ahhh so it's not the one eyedness thats getting to you, it's the comparison's with the amount of stupid things that Fevola has done... yeah? We love the hate. It only makes us stronger!

collingwood the joke of the competition
they say there the best run club in the comp but there players are untrustworthy they have players who drink and drive, again and again its a joke, they lie and the only reason they suspended them was because the public called them soft
they wont change there jumper when there is an obvious clash because, they are collingwood what a crock of shit
eddie goes on the footy show and imo makes a fool of himself defending them, he says they are kids there allowed to make mistakes there not 5 years old eddie
imo collingwood are a joke!!!
