based on current personel I'd say Carlton will win 3 or 4 before Saints get one.

Reiwoldt & Ball are the other half, any chance with half a heart. You wont die wondering with those two, but the other 20? Kreuzer wont be a genuine AFL ruckman for another couple of years, so the Blues will be around the place in 2012.

2008 I hope so. Go the Sainters. Do it for Robert Harvey. 21 yrs playing for St Kilda, and still going. Hell, I'm not even 21 yet.

St.Kilda.
Carlton are overdue for another scandal and fall from grace. Let 'em rot.

carlton will b winning a flag b4 a lot of other clubs. for the next few years its gna b all hawks, cats and dogs and wen the cats start their fall from grace, which every great team does, carlton will slot in probably and there will be intense rivalry b/w carlton and the hawks.
pretty good prediction i reckon, but of course footy is not predictable and thats y we love it! seriously who would hav thought 3 years ago that the cats of all teams would be the clear standout of the competition? nobody

10k on a Carlton premiership in 09. Got the cash ready to blow come 1 millsecond into the time at which stabs of a gambling nature can be taken out for season 2009...

I think St. Kilda. Just as an aside: despite the fact that Essendon and Carlton both have 16 premierships, I think Port Adelaide will be the first to win 20 flags.

Whatever works bro.
carlton never intentionally lost games they were hurt from previous issues and the awesome system that is inb place helped the club as it does any club struggling with wins and now look at them. Carlton are a top 8 team and next year will be top 4.
If Carlton are a top 8 team, then why are they not in the 8? And refresh my memory, how many rounds this season have they been in the 8? Until you get 60-80+ games into the majority of your young kids, you won't be serious challenger.

Carlton have a winning culture and St.Kilda are umm... St.Kilda, perennial losers!
So for me i reckon Carlton should win a flag sometime in the 2020's
