5 years at 10 mil a year? Sheesh...

Yet again, I think Hedo's as much a product of the system as anything else. He's good, but I think playing at Orlando made him look better than he is. Still a nice player... but not sure he's worth a $50 million contract. Not in this climate.

Your right, it's a huge contract for a 'nice' player........the NBA market is so reactive, you have a good year (although Hedo has been good for a few now) you get at least a few clubs bidding for you and generally results in inflated contracts....

I think a healthy Toronto could be a decent team in the East. Not world-beaters but if Bargnani continues to improve, Hedo plays like he did in Orlando and Bosh doing his regular thing and Calderon running the ship, they are a pretty decent team.

However the bench sucks balls.

Changed his mind and is now a Raptor accepting 5 Years and $53M, $3M more than what the Blazers offered. Big loss for the Blazers I think.

Hell no! If he was serious about winning a Championship Ring, he'd have stayed at Orlando and not opted out, or sign for the Blazers.
