Cotchin was hampered by injury, but in time will be the best of the lot.

Palmer had a great first season but Cotchin will justify his pre-draft hype and make Carlton wish they'd picked him.

As for Rioli... Has he peaked already? Will be nothing more than a goal poaching small forward.

Is Cotchin going to play for another team?

I wish!

He'd be quite welcome at the swans any day.

Well therefore he can't be the best then.

How can a player peak too early? Dumbest thing I’ve heard.

Hmmm reminds me of last year when people were saying buddy has peaked to early and then he came out and kicked 113 goals this season.
Bad Grin Bad Grin Bad Grin

Ever heard of one hit wonders?

Rioli will get the biggest case of second year blues ever seen by a player.

Rioli will not be a one hit wonder he has proved that this season and he will continue to get even better next season.
Players like Cyril Rioli were born to play AFL on the big stage at the MCG.

You will have egg on your face next season.

Brown #36
Artmfield # 46

Both played around 10 games in their first year at the club. Good start for latish picks

Also not a bad first-up effort from Craig Bird.

He was a NSW scholarship player, but I don't think many had him in their top 25-35 players.

2007 National Draft

Which players were taken too high for your liking?

Which clubs picked up a great future player with their late picks?

My opinion Rioli should have been pick 1.

Dew was a bargain at pick 45 Very Happy

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_AFL_Draft

best bargains:

Kepler Bradley at 65 was the biggest bargain in the draft. He has started finally showing something

Palmer at 7. clearly a bargain.

Dew at 45. goes with out saying.

Beau Wilkes at 59 in the rookie draft was also one of the biggest bargains. maybe it doesn't count but he played very good 8 games. pretty decent.

and rioli at 12 was pretty bloody decent.

Austin Wonaeamirri was a good pick up at 19 at the Rookie DrAfT
