been advised to take another 6 weeks off.

would be a tragedy if he doesnt make it onto an nba court.

I know what you mean, I've been waiting for him to get off that inactive list all season, it seems the longer it goes on the less chance he has..

Here's hoping he can make a full recovery, and hopefully one day step back on the court

If he doesn't get on the court at least he makes a guaranteed couple of mill...not bad for doing nothing

I'm pretty sure the set wage for a mid-2nd round draft pick is about US$600K (AU$1M) per year

Stephon Marbury is making about $250k a game to sit on the bench. Must be a hard life

In regards to his future, like the article said, he has probably had the condition his whole career, and it hasn't / won't affect him.

The only drama is that now that the condition has become public, Jawai is really going to struggle to get insured. And if he can't get insured, no team will be willing to play him

ESPN reported that by Nash getting suspended for 1 game without pay, he missed out on $120,000! Fuck, I bet he wishes he never got involved in that scuffle now

I doubt he'd get court time even if he was fully fit with the likes of Bosh, O'Neal and Bargnani on the squad.
There's was an article in The Australian on Friday, the writer touted Jawai as 'the next big thing in NBA basketball', talk about an overstatement.
