race 4 ascot saturday.

Bunbury trainer Brent Larsson is looking forward to this Saturday's return meeting at Ascot, not only because the Festival of Perth Racing is just around the corner, but his star galloper Hadabeclorka will resume his racing career following a setback caused by a leg injury.

Hadabeclorka has not raced since Australia Day this year, and the powerful looking son of Hurricane Sky is shooting for five consecutive wins, following his last four race wins of his most recent campaign.

On Saturday Hadabeclorka has drawn ideally in barrier two and he will have the services of Jason Whiting in the Bundaberg Rum & Cola Sprint, race four on the program.

"I am very happy with the horse and I am looking forward to his return on Saturday. I expect him to run well, but just want him to get around safely."

"All indications in his track work suggest he is ready to fire." Trainer Brent Larsson said

Hadabeclorka was set to resume racing last Saturday, but Larsson elected to wait another week to race on the fresh Ascot pad.

"Nothing was wrong with the horse, but I thought waiting another week would be better for him. I am glad I did in the end because he was probably no chance of beating Dark Target on his performance."

The bay gelding showed in his last campaign that he had the potential to mix it with the best, but Larsson is taking him one race at a time.

"I have no set plans or races for him, but if everything goes to plan we may have a crack at a few higher class of races." Larsson

Hadabeclorka : Showned enough on his return to record the fastest closing sectional. He'll be a sensation when he's ready.
