Legend of the game for many reasons. Only problem is he played for Hawthorn but he is a legend.

I thought that he was being rather stupid when he announced that he was going to play on. He had nothing to gain and everything to lose. I'm glad to see that he came to his senses.

Congratulations on a great career. Well done!

Absolute legend on and off the field. Sad we won't get to see him go around again, but it is the right decision.

Hope he comes down to Tassie for the hawks first game in 09 so we can thank him as well

Thats a pity. I thought he might have had another year.

That said, better to go out on top than risk playing in a premiership hangover team (if it happens)

Love your work Crawf. Good luck with the acting career. I hope that GF winning speech wasn't done as a screen test.

Awesome player/ambassador. He was kind of like Hawthorns version of Ben Cousins in the way he played - minus the 7 million off field incidents!!
