also, howcome this game wasnt played under the ELVs whilst the NZ vs Scotland was ? (i think it was, i watched 5 mins of it and i heard the ref say 'taken back')
When we say ELV's we mean the ELV's as we in Aust/NZ and SA have been playing.
The new world wide ELV's do not incorporate ALL the ELV's that we used.
Suggest you check out the IRB site and see what the difference is - short arms are the main losses but taking back into the 22 stays.
