I wish there was a way to report users in sportal forums for using obscenity in their post. Swearing doesn't help them make their point, it just suggests that they have a small vocabulary, and possibly a low I.Q. I would like a button next to the "quote" button that says "report this user." Swearing is both offensive and unnecessary.

Swearing is both offensive and unnecessary. I can't see why it's such a problem. Offensive posts are different from posts containing swearing. I think genuinely offensive posts should be removed or reported, but I can't see that a bit of swearing here or there is a problem of any significance.
