Plenty of players out of contract at the end of the season. With the January window coming up a lot of these players could be on the move as clubs try and cash in now instead of getting nothing for them at the end of the season.

http://www.transfermarkt...de/basics_GB1_2012.html

A few select players coming out of contract:

England
Dimitar Berbatov
Didier Drogba
Florent Malouda
Andrei Arshavin
Salomon Kalou
Gary Cahill
Jose Bosingwa
Tim Howard
Heurelho Gomes
Hugo Rodallega
Maynor Figueora
Tomas Rosicky
Michael Owen
Ledley King
Junior Hoilett
Martin Petrov
Louis Saha
Mark Schwarzer
Jussi Jaaskelainen
Danny Murphy

Italy
Daniele De Rossi
Riccardo Montolivo
Walter Samuel
Cristian Chivu
Mathieu Flamini
Sulley Muntari
Amauri
Hernan Crespo
Alessandro Del Piero
Fabrizio Miccoli

Germany
Jefferson Farfan
Rene Adler
Raul
Ivica Olic
Claudio Pizarro
Michael Ballack
Danijel Pranjic
Daniel van Buyten

Spain
Eric Abidal
Frederic Kanoute
Ruud van Nistelrooy

Any that you think would suit your club?

for Manchester United:

Daniele De Rossi
Gary Cahill

maybe:
Riccardo Montolivo

Some very good players on that free transfer market, would be massive for a club to get 1 or 2 of those guys, lots of experience and class in that list. Hoillet would be a handy pick up for most of the EPL clubs.

Small note, Ben Foster? There was talk that he'd return to Brum no problems after his loan this season, so there must be talk of a new contract or an error. Because he says when his time at WBA ends he's still contracted to Brum.

We've been linked with him a lot lately. Would love us to make a cheeky bid in January to try and tempt Blackburn. I doubt we are the only club looking at him though.

As for Foster, that's my bad. He is still contracted to Birmingham beyond this season.

Realistically Berba isn't either. The club will exercise our option to extend his deal.

Or if someone becomes available that wasn't before it wouldn't be out of the realms of possibility to sell him and use that cash for that target.

But again, that's all rumor and innuendo. As you said, so far the club have said they are willing to exercise our option before selling.

Thats a very old list of players, they'll be hoping for one last decent pay cheque and rules out Liverpool.

Can't imagine De Rossi not playing for Roma, are they not going to renew his contract?

I think it's more that de Rossi wants out. He's a little jaded at Roma I believe...

DDR is the King of Rome if he left he'd go abroad, Milan Really want him but he won't hurt Roma like that, He'd be awesome for Arsenal IMO they need some grunt he's the perfect bloke for that.

And at 28 you'd still get a few good years out of him yet...

Probs too old for Wenger though...

I'd take Montolivo or De Rossi at Everton.

Lets be honest but, they wont be coming over for a bag of chips and thats all we can offer them Laughing

Wonder what's going to happen with Schwarzer? Not sure if Fulham are keen to extend his deal. Hope he still continues to play at the top.

Farfan would be a good pick up for any one needing a bit of pace.

Also, Brett Holman is out of contract a season's end.

Yeah De Rossi out of that lot.. Still wouldn't be cheap but would be a very handy player.. Has the ability to score bombs as well, somthing we lack at times through the midfield.. Unless Gibbo is on the pitch Rolling Eyes

Whatever happened to Rodallega.. Doesn't even play for a struggling Wigan and it wasn't long ago he was being linked to the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool, has he had a falling out or something because he should be in that team every week.

He will probably play on one year contracts from here. He is pretty valuable to Fulham.

Anyone saying Montolivo, he's done nothing for ages now. Should have just signed the contract extension with Fiorentina or bought it out, just staying has cost him dearly.

On De Rossi, I don't think Roma sell. If he's desperate to go though then that's a different matter.

One thing is for sure, The ponce won't be coming to the A-League any time soon. Can't hack the pressure, thinks he's we owe him something... He can get f*cked. Cocky bastard thinks he has a mortgage on the #1 shirt till the World Cup too..
