Now that the NBA season is going to start, thought it would be good to start the annual thread to discuss all the moves and rumours.

Just read that Philly wants to amnesty Nocioni to sign...wait for it...Kwame Brown!! This free agency period is going to be really fun.

How long does every team have to make there amnesty? Or does it have to be done immediately? This amnesty clause is the thing that I believe will cause Miami to win about the next 3 rings.

Also, what is actually gonna happen with all the players that signed in China??

RT @billionairetone: Can teams use amnesty every year? (NO. ONLY ONCE. ON 1 PLAYER SIGNED BEFORE 7/1/11. IN ANY OFFSEASON OF NEW LABOR DEAL)

Hell no. The ONLY reason that Heat team won a title was because certain refs gift-wrapped it. I have to agree with the others Kingston - no comparison. Wade's only marginally worse now, and LeBron/Bosh totally outweigh (maybe not literally so!) a somewhat aging Shaq (not quite prime).

Yeah but when Portland amnesty B-Roy and Cleveland amnesty Boom Dizzle and they both take stuff all contracts at the Heat 'cos they'll still be effectively getting paid about $18m a year then what happens???

In a way I hope we trade him to some team in the middle of yahooville just to piss him off.

No doubt the heat need to win now because in the next few years the salary cap will tighten things right up.

James isn't going anywhere, i know you hate him but he's the best player since Jordan imo and he will win a title. 100% guaranteed.

What are the Rockets going to do?

Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing if only he could shoot and be a big time 4th quarter player when it counts

he isn't even his teams best player

Rockets are fine, just keep developing their own, look for Patrick Patterson to have a big year.

LeBron James would nearly beat the Rockets starting 5 all by himself

Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing you do know the Rockets are 1 team that holds LeBron to decent numbers and output, wish people would stop over rating him.

Yeah and if the Rockets had the chance to get James you'd reject it lol, you'd prefer Kevin Injured Martin

Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing 80 games in a season not good enough for you, played 102 out of a possible 109 games since joining the Rockets. Kevin Martin also is a more efficient scorer that your boyfriend LeBron.

That's rich. After your little spat in the Auction thread. Some consistency'd be nice. This is a public thread, if you can't keep track of how you act on different accounts, hell - why should we be expected to? I just find it interesting that one of your last ever set of posts as Froginablender was vitriol-laced bile towards the Heat, yet here you are, kissing/making up with the Heat.
